Think of it in terms of governments. You have local, regional, and national. A national government rep really wouldn't be called in if someone robbed a 7-eleven. each level has reps assigned to take care of smaller things. supreme kai didn't bother with freeza because he wasn't a threat to the entire universe. as for the kais power, i think it was brought up on a different forum that it wasn't a matter of how powerful he was, but rather his special powers/techniques of the kais. |

I'd just like to point out that it was Dai Kaioshin (killed by Buu) was the ultimate supreme kai who watched over the entire Universe, alla the christian "God"

I really don't think Great Kaioshin could be compared to the Christian God. He isn't almighty at all. To begin with, he died  And he didn't create the universe, nor he created the Kaioshins and other "angels", he is just the chief of the Kaioshins, and in fact, he had a predecessor. They was at least 15 others Great Kaioshin before him, as the old Kaioshin that was in the sword is "Great Kaioshin from 15 generations" As for why the Kaioshin didn't do anything against Freeza, I'd answer that's because they don't interfere with small matters like him. Majin Buu was threatening the very existence of all life in the universe. Freeza was just a tyrant somewhere. For Cell, if he wasn't destroyed on Earth and would have beginning to destroy planets after planets, as he looks like he panned too, then the Kaioshins would have interfered. (and as there is only one Kaioshin left and he is the weakest of all, I'm pretty sure the universe would be doomed ^^) |

Well honestly those others ur talking about r the most powerful warriors honestly, back in the day being a super saiyan said something huge and now with all these other forms it's like, well SSJ1 is ok, eh , but really Supreme Kai is pretty powerful but just wasnt portrayed to be a fighter like goku and vegeta. he's stronger than frieza and prolly the androids. Thats a pretty decent powerlevel. |

I thought it was strange for the grand supreme kai to die, or whatever happened to him. if the creator is removed, where did he go? plus, there the kais, can't they make wishes with dragon balls? or can't they just do whatever since they created the universe and govern it? I think DBZ just has a lot of problems when it comes to how the laws of the universe work. you would think the other kais where simply created from nothingness since they look like they are related to the grand supreme kai, yet the only female ones seem to be lower in rank. that would make the kais fatherless, and non related, kinda depressing. also you would think their would be some sort of power they had to create or destroy, which would explain a lot of things, yet they never seemed to have anything like that O.o |
